OR Engines OR 40cc Junior OR 40/50cc Engine 

  

DMR is the sole UK & Ireland Importer for the O R Race Engines.  The O R engine is manufactured to extremely high standards by OR & GM Phantom.  These engines are Italian made thoroughbred 2 stroke race engines purpose made for Minimoto/Pocketbike racing.  The crankcases, crankshaft, cylinder, cylinder head, clutch and clutch drum/housing are all OR/Phantom produced.

The racing crankshaft is available in either 39.2mm or 39.8mm stroked specification for use in the 40 and 50cc class.  The crank webs are single piece machined with bagelite and tungsten balancing plugs.  The crankcases are machined with a reduced length inlet tract which aims either a conventional or KO V Force Reed cage in a more upwardly direction toward the underside of the piston and aims flow above the crank webs.  The reed cage also sits closer to the crankshaft to improve the expansion chamber signal.  The standard crankcases can accomodate both the conventional reed cages and the KO V Force Reed Cage without modification.

The crankcases additionally benefit from being able to use a full 21mm parallel rubber manifold.  This enables the use of a full 21mm carburettor without restrictions fromthe angled 18mm variety used on other engines. 

The OR cylinder is cast/machined with a nicasil liner material.  The ports are a 6 port transfer arrangement and a main exhaust port flanked by 2 auxillery exhaust ports.

These engines are available from DMR in either standard, semi tuned or fully tuned specifications.  DMR utilises full workshop facilities including a Dynapro S32 chassis ‘dyno’ when supplying customer race engines.

IAME Parilla Engine

  

Now available exclusively from DMR is the 2010 IAME M40 & M50 (Parilla) engines.  IAME, formerly Parilla, is an Italian Kart engine manufacturer now producing the highly acclaimed M40 & M50 Minimoto engines.  The IAME engine benefits from having a 39.4 crankshaft stroke dimension on both the 40 and 50cc engine, a cast iron cylinder liner, teflon coated piston and a rubber coated reed cage to allow prolonged use of the light gauge carbon fibre reeds. These engines draw from technology used in kart race engines and are the next level in Minimoto engine performance. The IAME engines are supplied as a complete package to include the exhaust and either a 15 or 21mm carburettor. DMR has competed the 50cc version of this engine and achieved 3/3 straight wins in its first outing.
